Tear Sirs,
e beg to inform you that by permit from His Excellency the Governor of Hong Kong, we are now allowed to import from Great Britain all goods ordered prior to the outbreak of the war.
Should you not be able to communicate with our
Head Office we would advise you to write to the Chartere Bank of India, Australia and China, London, with regard to financing your drafts on us at 4 m/s., W/P with interest
clause.
If it should prove impossible for you to discount
the drafts there we ask you to forward the documents for
collection through either the Chartered Bank or Hong Kong
Bank in which case the goods will also be stored to the
order of the respective Bank.
You will of course, have the war risk clause
inserted in the Insurance Policies (all premia to your
debit) and all documents are to be made out to the order
of the relative Bank.
Please always send invoices (in duplicate and by different routes) and shipping samples direct to us here
and if you could, without incurring any expenses, furnish
us with a certificate from your "hamber of Commerce to the
effect
